Contemporary Paintings

My paintings explore landscapes imbued with a quiet, spiritual resonance. I am drawn to places where the atmosphere is charged with memory, ritual and the passage of time.

Recent paintings centre on olive trees and groves encountered during travels through Spain and Greece. Rooted in histories of labour, endurance, and devotion - the trees become enduring symbols of continuity, living witnesses to generations of cultivation, care, and human connection to the land.

In 2025, I was awarded the Jackson's Art Prize Choice Award, having previously been shortlisted for the Jackson's Painting Prize in 2022 and 2023.
